Rescue Training Day Re Scheduled May 20th HCPA Meeting May 21st
Rescue training day has been rescheduled for Saturday May 20th. The spring HCPA meeting will be held at JJ's cafe in Old Station 10.00am Sunday May 21st.
The rescue training day will start at 7.00 am at the HCVFD at {7749 CA-89, Hat Creek, CA 96040} with breakfast.
8.00 am class showing layout of Hat Creek flying site, and sites of likely and historic rescues.
10.00 am CHP and Cal Fire helicopters will land in LZ2 and demonstrate their equipment and capabilities.
There will then be a demonstration of the different hang glider and paragliding harnesses and how they are attached to HG/PG and how to extricate someone.
I will be flying and camping in LZ2 Friday to be ready for a 7.00 am breakfast Saturday.
