The Fly Your Glass Off Fly In has always been a low key affair flying glass-offs at different sites in NE california.   Sugar Hill in Modoc county is the favorite as glass offs there regularly reward pilots with a 28mile  flight to Lakeview and beyond all in smooth glassy air.  Launches can be in high winds and landings are usually no wind. We usually start at Hat Creek and review the weather and make decisions where to go from there.
